We aim to make Pavillion a product that developers love to use. Beyond the features you see at the moment, we’re super excited about all the new features and improvements that will be happening as we move forward with our own development and as we continue partnering with other studios to help them release their games.
As a start, we’ve partnered with a few select studios that we know well like the The Voxel Agents, SpiderMonk Entertainment, and various others we’ll be announcing soon… We’ve been working very collaboratively with them as we continue to develop and validate the APIs and feature sets that they (and other future development studios) need.
Once we and the developers are happy with the toolset and we’ve validated that everything is working well, we’ll invite the next cohort of developers. Each cohort will consist of 3 to 4 development studios. We’ll continue running through this process of working with dedicated cohorts until Pavillion is fully featured and as close to perfect as we can get it, growing the game portfolio as we go along.
This live-development process of building and testing will be a learning curve for everyone, but one that we’re all enjoying, as it’s not every day that you get to work on the cutting-edge and push the boundaries of a new technology in game development.
